My carreer as a physical therapist began in
pediatrics in Roseburg, Oregon after graduating from the University of
Montana with a degree in physical therapy. We thereafter moved to
Alaska where the next four years I worked in school settings with kids
in
the outlying "bush" villages. However, with the paternal needs
of a growing family, my practice is now relegated to pediatrics in my
home town which currently
happens to be Bozeman, Montana in the winter.
Isthmus Physical Therapy grew out of the name of the island where we
live in the summer and the thought that an isthmus is a narrow bridge
that must be
crossed. Rehabilitation is not unlike crossing a bridge to a
bigger world of independence and mobility. It has become my
life's
professional work to serve people in this manner.
