A bridge to some of southcentral Alaska's greatest treasures

Isthmus Alaska is an organization of family members who live and work on Kachemak Bay near Homer, Alaska.  Like many coastal Alaskans our livelihood is drawn not only from the water but whatever else keeps us productive and stimulates a wholesome experience for our families.  One of our primary methods of economic gain is commercial fishing for wild Alaska salmon.  In order to make this viable we also must make the most of our other opportunities so that we are economically sound.  This website is an eclectic gateway to all of these ventures simply as a way to access our lifestyle and perhaps our services.  Not only does this website include the commercial side of our lives but also touches on the more relevant preoccupations that motivate us.  We hope that you like it.
